City Centre Newcastle or Surrounding Countryside?

Newcastle is a beautiful city with so much to offer. If you’re considering a wedding inside the city or just on the periphery in the neighbouring countryside, you won’t go too wrong with either, but we decided to put a list together so you can weight the options yourself…

1. City: Convenience

Getting around Newcastle is so easy. Thanks to the amazing transport links, the whole city is accessible within at most half an hour. You can use the Metro, the train, buses, taxes, bikes and there’s even the Shields Ferry. Your guests will be able to get there in no time at all. And of course, there are plenty of luxury transport options for you and your partner.

2. Country: Peace and Quiet

3. City: Skyline

The Newcastle skyline is also one of the most beautiful skylines in the UK, especially in the evening when everything’s alight with bright colours. There’s such a mix of contemporary and classic too from the Tyne Bridge to St Mary’s Cathedral, and mixed skyline of large and small. It’s best enjoyed in the city, and you’re sure to get some glowing wedding photos.
