If you’re getting married in the Peak District and want some inspiration to give your photographer for dreamy wedding photos, these are our 10 favourites!
1. Laughter
The best shots to get are always of laughter! We love this photo taken at Hargate Hall in Buxton by Pixies in the Cellar.
2. Through the Flowers
Many photographers will use this strategy to create a very natural look of you both walking through the grounds of your venue. We love this one at Capesthorne Hall.
3. On a Pier
Thanks to all the beautiful lakes in the Peak District, there’s an abundance of lovely piers to take photos on. Get your photographer to snap a pic of you hand in hand surrounded by the lovely countryside. This one was taken at Wood Lane Countryside Centre.
4. Back to the Camera
You really do not need to worry too much about photos; if your wedding is in the Peak District, your photos outside will be naturally beautiful. Take a shot of you both enjoying the view like this one at Tapton Hall.
5. A Kiss to the Scenery
Get a kissing shot with a beautiful background; this shouldn’t be too hard to find in the Peak District! Bonus: get someone to throw your veil up and run out of the picture for this kind of look! This was taken in the gardens of Chatsworth House.
6. A Sparkling Wedding
Many photographers use this trick! They put their camera on a slow shutter speed, get you to stand really still and draw a love heart with your sparkler. Get creative with this one! This shot was taken at Durker Roods Hotel.
7. Group Pic
Get a pic with your girl squad in front of the beautiful countryside Derbyshire and the Peak District is blessed with. This is at Cressbrook Hall photographed by Aaron Russell Photography. See the full wedding here.
8. Confetti Shot
Obviously you need that perfect confetti shot and this one at Siobhan and Rob’s wedding on Mapperley Farm is just beautiful. It was taken by SaywellHQ Wedding Photographer and can be viewed in full here.
9. Dancing to Us
This pose is really sweet and quite creative. Get one looking into each other’s eyes in the place you married. This particular place was Hargate Hall. See the full wedding here.
10. Something Cool
Finally, just get something really cool and different! Whether that’s on a bike, a tractor or a boat with your loved one. You’ll look back and love the pictures! This one was taken by SMH Photography. Check them out!
