1. Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, York
For its quirkiness and historical charm, this 650 year old monument deserved a place on our list. You can hire it exclusively for 20 to 180 guests, dining in either the Hall or the Governor’s Parlour. 2. Westfield Farm Weddings, Malton

4. The National Centre for Early Music, York
Another unique wedding venue in York, the National Centre for Early Music is a Grade I listed medieval building set within private and peaceful gardens. You will have exclusive use of the venue, allowing you to take full advantage of photo opportunities like in front of the 12th century Norman arch.
5. The Broughton Hall Estate, Skipton
On this estate, you can choose between not one, not two but three wedding venues; Utopia is a structure designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, sitting within its won walled garden, Eden is a transformed 17th century bar surrounded by ancient oak trees and gravelled courtyards, and Broughton Hall itself comes with luxurious accommodation and the ultimate wow factor. 6. Carr Mount Estate, Whitby
For a luxury tipi celebration, head to the Carr Mount Estate for your wedding. 7. De Grey Rooms, York
Right in the heart of York, you will find the De Grey Rooms. Built in 1841, the building features a ballroom, glass chandeliers and fine detailing throughout. 8. Aldby Park, Buttercrambe
For a celebration like no other, choose Aldby Park. Aldby Park features two magnificently manicured lawns available for marquees, a Grade II listed Georgian manor house, full access to the gardens, a historic moat and the quaint St John the Evangelist Church. Huge capacity for up to 500 guests!
9. Aldwark Manor Hotel, York
