Bridal Dress Trends for 2019

Can you believe that we have reached the end of 2018? Another amazing year, so many wonderful weddings and so a host of new and stunning trends have come into favour.

This year has seen a nod to minimalism and confident elegance. The Meghan Markle effect has brought us clean and effortless simple glamour without the use of beading, lace or tulle. We have seen a rise in a second dress echoing the ceremony glamour but with a casual twist.

The Ballgown

 

The classic gown seems to be making its way to catwalks and collections. Incredibly flattering and lending itself to statement jewellery and dramatic hairstyles. In addition there are so many ways to style a Ballgown dress no two brides look the same!.

A key trend across 2019 Bridal Show Catwalks. The Halterneck dress has been widely desired thanks to The Duchess of Sussex and that stunning evening wedding dress as featured above. Here lace is given prominence to the detail from the halter sweeping down through the silhouette of the dress.
